We use the information we collect to:

- Create and manage your account
- Enable volunteer management within organizations
- Track volunteer hours and event participation
- Generate invite codes for organization membership
- Communicate with you about your account or our services

Your data is stored securely using Firebase, a Google Cloud service. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Your data may be shared in the following limited circumstances:
- Within Your Organization: Other members of your organization can see volunteer profiles, events, and hours logs associated with that organization.
- Service Providers: We use Firebase (Google Cloud) for authentication and data storage. Their use of your data is governed by their respective privacy policies.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law or in response to valid legal requests.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access and update your personal information
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Leave an organization at any time
- Opt out of non-essential communications
6. Children's Privacy
Our service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
